CONDUCT (cont'd)
8 Pray (See also
'PRAYER'', Page 88)
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it
shall be opened unto you: for everyone that asketh receiveth; and he that
seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut
thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret, and thy Father which seeth
in secret shall recompense thee. And in praying use not vain repetitions, as
the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much
speaking. Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what
things ye have need of, before ye ask him. After this manner therefore pray
ye:
Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. m0606-13/l1102-4
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he send forth labourers into
his harvest.

9 Forgive
[From the Lord's Prayer:]
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also
forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your
Father forgive your trespasses.
m0612-5/l1104
And judge not, and ye shall not be judged: and condemn not, and ye shall not
be condemned: release, and ye shall be released: give, and it shall be given
unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall
they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be
measured to you again.
Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit? The
disciple is not above his master: but every one when he is perfected shall
be as his master. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's
eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how canst
thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me cast out the mote that is in thine
eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou
hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou
see clearly to cast out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.
l0637-42/m0701-5
And if thy brother sin against thee, go, shew him his fault between thee and
him alone: if he hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he hear
thee not, take with thee one or two more, that at the mouth of two witnesses
or three every word may be established. And if he refuse to hear them, tell
it unto the church: and if he refuse to hear the church also, let him be
unto thee as the Gentile and the publican.
