Unity of Purpose with Christ (cont'd)

I can of myself do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgement is righteous; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.                                                                                                                                                                                             j0530

....for the works which the Father hath given me to accomplish, the very works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.                                                                                                                                                                                                     j0536

I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.                         j0543

This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.                                                                                                  j0629

For I am come down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.                             j0638-40

[His disciples: Rabbi, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he should be born blind?]
Neither did this man sin, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. We must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. When I am in the world, I am the light of the world.                j0902-5

I am the good shepherd; and I know mine own, and mine own know me, even as the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and they shall become one flock, one shepherd. Therefore doth the Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I may take it again. No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.                                                                                                                                       j1014-8

[The Jews: If thou art the Christ, tell us plainly.]
I told you, and ye believe not: the works that I do in my Father's name, these bear witness of me.                                                 j1024-5

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I say unto you I speak not from myself: but the Father abiding in me doeth his works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very work's sake.

                                                                                                                                                                                                        j1410-1

I glorified thee on the earth, having accomplished the work which thou hast given me to do.                                                           j1704

Now they know that all things whatsoever thou thou hast given me are from thee: for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; ...                                                                                                                                                                                              j1707

I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.                                                                                               j2017
