 13 VOCATION (cont'd)

1 Call (cont'd)

Outsiders & False Prophets
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. When he hath put forth all his own, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.                                                                                                                                                                                        j1001-5

[John: Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name: and we forbade him, because he followed not us.]
Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a mighty work in my name, and be able quickly to speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is for us. For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink, because ye are Christ's, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.                                                                                                                                                    k0938-41/l0949-50

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth.                                                              l1123/m1320

What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

                                                                                                                                                                            k1209/l2015-6/m2140-1

Every plant which my heavenly Father planted not, shall be rooted up. Let them alone: they are blind guides. And if the blind guide the blind, both shall fall into a pit.                                                                                                                                                        m1513-4

Take heed that ye be not led astray: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am he; and, The time is at hand: go ye not after them.

                                                                                                                                                                             l2108/k1505-6/m2404-5

And many false prophets shall arise, and shall lead many astray.                                                                                                      m2411

.... for there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, the elect.                                                                                                                                                                                    k1322/m2424

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves. By their fruits ye shall know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?                                                                                                                       m0715-6

Many will say to me in that day, Lord. Lord, did we not prophesy in thy name, and by thy name cast out devils, and by thy name do many mighty works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.                      m0722-3/l1326-7

Errands
[To two disciples:] Go into the village that is over against you, and straightway ye shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. And if any one say aught unto you, ye shall say, The Lord hath need of them; and straightway he will send them.                                                                                                                                                                 m2102-3/k1102-3/l1930-4

[To Peter and John:] Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat.
[Where wilt thou that we make ready?]
Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth. And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he will shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.                 l2208-12/k1413-5/m2618

[To Mary Magdalene and the other Mary:] All hail.
[And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshipped him.]
Fear not: go tell my brethren that they depart into Galilee, and there shall they see me.                                                              m2809-10
