Outsiders & False Prophets
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the fold
of the sheep, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a
robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To
him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own
sheep by name, and leadeth them out. When he hath put forth all his own, he
goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a
stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the

[John: Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name: and we forbade him,
because he followed not us.]
Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a mighty work in my name,
and be able quickly to speak evil of me. For he that is not against us is for
us. For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink, because ye are
Christ's, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.

[Where wilt thou that we make ready?]
Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing
a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth. And ye shall
say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the
guest-chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? And he will
shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
